Cherokee Ministry

The Carriage Lane Youth Group has participated in missions on the Cherokee Indian Reservation in Cherokee, NC, for the past 9 summers. Our Cherokee mission team also visits the reservation three or four times during the year to visit with our Cherokee friends and to witness to them.

Build Relationships and Share the Gospel

Over the years the Cherokee mission trip has grown from a one week summer trip to multiple trips throughout the year. Relationships have grown as the kids grow up. Relationships with the families has developed and grown. We witness in word and relationship, loving as Christ loved us and serving with Christ as our example.

Each year we begin our preparation in January with pre-missions preparation and then mission team meetings. Many of our team members have been participating since Jr. High and are still attending now that they are in college.
