Cherokee, NC: July 5-12. A team of youth and adult leaders will travel to Cherokee, NC, to conduct a weeklong day camp, Sonshine Bible Days, and minister at Tsali Care, a senior citizen facility. The team will also continue an outreach ministry to teens. This will be the tenth summer that our youth will go to Cherokee and their diligence is bearing fruit in the lives of the Cherokee people.
Lima, Peru: July 11-19. A combined team from CLPC and Grace PCA in Douglasville, GA will participate in a mission trip to Lima, Peru. This will be a medical/VBS trip working with an established church in Lima and a church plant in Chilca. Pastor Rene Drapala and his wife, Renata, have invited CLPC to bring a mission team to the Czech Republic to provide staff and teachers for an evangelistic English as a Second Language Camp. The team will provide teachers for advanced English students and build relationships for the purpose of sharing their lives and the gospel with the students. Experience with ESL is a plus, but several assistants are also needed. Please contact Jim and Wendy Grega for more information.
