The Women’s Ministry of Carriage Lane Presbyterian Church exists to bring glory to God by helping women grow in their personal knowledge of Christ, equipping them for ministry, and providing opportunities for building meaningful relationships with other women. We seek to support our session and ministers in their God-given roles as leaders and shepherds as we co-labor with them for the welfare of the church.
Our Mission is to Serve:
♦ Spiritual Growth – Help women grow in the knowledge of Christ.
♦ Equip women to minister to each other and serve in the church.
♦ Reach out with Christ’s love to others.
♦ Value Relationships – Help deepen women’s relationships with other women.
♦ Extend God’s kingdom in her life, home, church, community and throughout the world.
Carriage Lane Women’s Ministry will be guided by a desire to see Colossians 1:28 and Colossians 2:6 realized in the lives of the women of Carriage Lane. We proclaim Him (Christ) admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone perfect in Christ. To this end we labor. Colossians 1:28 As you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. Colossians 2:6
Our Ministry Opportunities:
We believe the Bible is the written Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit and without error. Because the Bible is our infallible and divine authority in all matters of faith and life, we seek to help women grow in their understanding of biblical womanhood and to encourage them to apply the teaching of scripture in order to fulfill their God-given calling.
