Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Can you believe another academic year is drawing to a close?  I hope you all have had great success in your pursuits and have grown both intellectually as well as spiritually.

We are excited to have you all home this summer!  We hope that you feel part of the body at Carriage Lane and take advantage of every opportunity for worship and fellowship.

I would like to congratulate all the graduating seniors and welcome them to the joys and freedoms known as “life after high school.”  You are more than welcome to stay in youth group for the summer, or you can come on up to the Cove for a college ministry setting.  It may be helpful for you to attend Sunday school with us so that you can make some connections helpful for you when you’re back in town for holidays during the regular school year. 

Check out the excellent selection of books at Carriage Lane's new bookstore, Books on the Lane.  Books and Bibles are available in Room 302 after Sunday School and Morning Worship times.  Books are discounted 20%.

Help us get the word out to the community about our English as a Second Language (ESL) Classes.  Flyers and business cards are available in the gallery at the church.  Please take a few to post on community bulletin boards in apartment complexes, grocery stores, laundromats, international stores...

CD recordings of the Parent Conference that was led by Michael Dixon at CLPC on August 3 - 4, 2007, are available in the church office.  The topic is Numb: Understanding the Worldview of the Me Generation.  The cost for the 3 CD set is $5.00.
