Position Open

Director of Music Ministries

We recently said goodbye to our Director of Music Ministries, Ben Mason, and his wife Meagan. Ben was with us for five years and the Lord used him to build an excellent God-centered music ministry. He and Meagan are pursuing further education at the University of Southern California.

The Session has formed a Search Committee to look for Ben's replacement. Please pray for us as we search for just the right man to fit the music ministry needs, philosophy, and doctrine at Carriage Lane. Click HERE for more information about this position opening.

In the interim, our Worship Committee is taking on the oversight of all aspects of our music ministries. Many existing and new volunteers are taking on various responsibilities; we are so thankful for their dedication and passion for this ministry. We are pleased to announce that we have recently hired two highly qualified musicians: Becki Mayo as our interim accompanist, and our own Joanne Brandes as our interim Choir Director.

You will see Becki accompanying our musicians, praise singers, and choir on the piano at most worship services. Joanne will begin our choir ministry Wednesday, September 8 and if you love to sing, I hope you will consider joining this important ministry this fall. They will practice Wednesday nights from 7:00-8:00 in the sanctuary and sing twice a month in the worship service. Sunday performance rehearsals are at 10:30 a.m.

Thank you for your patience and prayers during this interim period. We are confident that God will continue to provide for our needs and lead us to our new Director of Music Ministries according to His timing.
